Fishing is where it all began. . .

Growing up on the water with a fishing guide father, Travis Long - owner of Long's Dock Service - knew his life would be lived on the lake. Later becoming a fishing guide himself, Travis learned the lakes of upstate South Carolina and the surrounding areas better than the back of his own hand. After years of living by the lake and working on it, he decided to use his experience, knowledge, and strong work ethic to service the lake lovers in his community and their docks so that they could enjoy the water without the work.
